Ministry Consultant

With over 24 years of a broad ministry experience, Kim is well qualified to offer assistance in both worship ministry and women’s ministry strategies. Since 2011, Kim has led worship weekly at University Christian Church in Los Angeles, CA, where she paves the way in pursuing intergenerational and multiethnic worship in a growing, vibrant and diverse community.

Consulting in worship leader and team development, spiritual formation, staff and volunteer team-building, and service and/or event planning are all well within Kim’s wheelhouse. She has helped churches improve/change worship styles and venues, audition worship teams, mentor worship leaders, and combine liturgy and traditional music, even a cappella music, with contemporary worship styles.

With a genuine heart for women finding a personal relationship with Jesus, Kim offers guidance with planning women’s events of depth, strategizing effective growth, depth, and accountability to meet the felt needs of women in the church and community.

Kim has been around and in ministry her entire life, and has a deep love for the vibrant life-change the local church can and should bring to its community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pacific Christian College in Bible and Worship Ministries. In addition to Kim being a “preacher’s kid” where she experienced ministry up close and personal, she spent 5 years traveling the U.S. country directing music outreach groups recruiting for Hope International University, and working with churches of all sizes.

Whether it is a brainstorming retreat day, lunch meeting or hands-on season of growth, planning, and weekly meetings, Kim brings a fresh air and a wealth of knowledge and passion for growth and development in the local church. You will appreciate her desire to listen and learn about your people and goals, and will be challenged by her keen insights and suggestions.

“Kim is a delight. Her uplifting spirit and fresh approach brought motivation and depth to our event. She is transparent in ways that connect with those she encounters to encourage us out of places where fear grips and toward the place where God frees.
